This wine is made with slightly late-harvest fruit that was picked about one week to 10 days later than average. The certified organic Tenuta di Tavignano 2019 Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva Classico Misco is a wine of texture and medium fruit weight. The wine presents lots of yellow and golden fruit with hints of saffron and dried ginger. It undergoes a partial malolactic fermentation to achieve the extra creaminess that you feel, especially in this nice vintage. This is a limited production of 3,500 bottles.

The 2019 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Riserva Misco is wonderfully perfumed yetalso rich in the glass, with nuances of brown spice and hints of baked apples giving way to sweet floral tones. It impresses further with silky, near-glycerol textures and depths of ripe apple and pear, practically enveloping the salty minerals within, which come forward only toward the close. The 2019 finishes elegant and long, only lightly structured, while leaving a subtle buzz of lemony tension to linger. There is so much pleasure to be found here, the 2019 Misco Riserva is a beauty !
