Antonio Gallioni's Vinous.com: 94/100 Glass-staining ruby. Oak-spiced dark berries and cherry-cola on the intensely perfumed nose, along with building floral and vanilla qualities and a hint of olive paste. Broad and fleshy in the palate, offering concentrated, appealingly sweet blackberry, blueberry, kirsch and licorice flavors that firm up steadily through the back half. Finishes very long and spicy, with resonating floral and spice notes and youthful tannic grip.
