Antonio Galloni's Vinous.com: 91/100 A blend of crushed black cherries, wilted violets, stone dust and cedar forms an enticing bouquet as the 2022 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Valle Maris opens in the glass. This is wickedly fresh and intense with silky textures and vibrant acidity that propels its tart red berry fruits. A gentle tug of fine tannins frames the finish. The 2022 tapers off with hints of licorice and spice.
