Very rich, sappy and concentrated, with terrific energy and a layered texture to the dark fruit and spice flavors. Shapely, vibrant wine with a long, bright finish. Burghound.com: 90-93/100. There is a subtle floral character to the pure and very fresh nose of wild red berries, wet stone and soft spice elements. The stone character is picked up by the delicious and vibrant middle weight flavors that possess a relatively refined mouth feel thanks to the fine-grained tannins supporting the austere but not harsh finish that is both more complex and a bit longer as well.
