The 2012 Châteauneuf du Pape is a beautifully Provencal effort that gives up loads of black licorice, savory spice, leather and sweet black cherry aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, elegant and already approachable, it nevertheless has the tannic structure and concentration to evolve for 10-15 years. 92/100.
