The 2023 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Le Mas is a beautiful wine, wafting from the glass with aromas of dark cherries, flowers, garrigue, spices and mulberries. Medium- to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it’s impeccably balanced, with ripe tannins, a sappy structure and a seamless texture that carries through to a long, delicate finish. A blend of 50% Grenache Noir, 20% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre and 15% Cinsault, this is a graceful, harmonious cuvée well worth seeking out ! 94+/100.

JebDunnuck.com 94/100 The 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Le Mas comes from the cooler, northeastern part of the appellation and is made by the team at Clos du Caillou. Partially destemmed and aged 14 months in 90% demi-muids with 10% in used barrels, it shows deeper ruby/plum hues and pretty aromatics of bright berries, minty herbs, flowers, and pepper. It's medium-bodied, with a nicely concentrated, elegant mouthfeel, fine tannins, and outstanding length. It will drink well for 10-15 years. Drink 2025-2040.
