The 2022 Riesling Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese (Green Capsule) opens with a fascinatingly clear, refined and complex bouquet of ginger bread, orange blossoms and crushed wet stones. Full-bodied, lush and creamy, with crystalline acidity and remarkably elegant fruit, this is a gorgeous Spätlese with almost a Domprobst character. The wine is so settled and, in a very fine way, juicy, as if the vines root in a deeper, wetter terroir. This is superb and already drinks with great pleasure. 95/100.

Antonio Galloni's Vinous.com: 94/100 The 2022 Riesling Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese Green Capsule is still under a cloud of yeasty reduction. The palate brings almost apple-like juiciness pervaded by lemon freshness, vivid, bright, and incredibly mouth-watering. That apple vibe stays despite passing notions of tangerine and peach checking in. The finish is all zesty citrus, bright, long and aromatic. Beautiful and so slender. A zesty marvel !
