From a highly anticipated vintage, the Podere Sapaio 2021 Sapaio reveals extra volume and textural richness, but it remains incredibly focused throughout. The wine delivers a seamless quality in which the blended varieties—Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc—are expertly played against each one another to form the building blocks of this very pretty wine. It finishes long and with lots of balanced intensity. That brilliant sharpness is what distinguishes this vintage. 97/100 !
