Parker review
Nages’ top effort, the 2008 Costieres de Nimes Lou Coucardie is primarily tank-aged Grenache with a small dollop of Mourvedre included in the blend. Very impressive for the vintage, it possesses a deep ruby/purple color, lots of kirsch, black raspberry, smoke, herb, and spice characteristics, full body, and a lusciously-constructed, round, generous personality. It should drink well for 3-4 years.
