A brilliant white, the 2012 Costieres De Nimes JT is a blend of 52% Roussanne and 48% Viognier, and is year in, year out, one of the top whites in the appellation. Tasting like a Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc, it offers classy stone fruits, white peach, hints of citrus and ample minerality to go with a medium+-bodied, rich and layered profile on the palate. Gorgeous all around, with beautiful purity of fruit, it should continue to shine over the coming 2-3 years. It-s fantastic value that should not be missed.
Therhonereport.com: 93/100 ! A blend of almost all barrel aged Roussanne (there‟s 5% Grenache Blanc), the 2011 Château de Nages Costières-de-Nîmes Blanc JT is a brilliant white that offers both richness and depth, as well as elegance and class. Offering beautiful aromatics of white peaches, assorted flowers, hints of herbs, and classic Roussanne minerality, this medium to fullbodied 2011 has a rich, almost tannic structure on the palate, with a layered, rich texture, superb balance, and superb length on the finish. While I would lean towards drinking this over the coming 2-3 years, this should age, and I would not be surprised to see it still showing well at age 10. It isa gorgeous wine that should not be missed! (93 pts.)
