Parker review
The 2023 Riesling Lieu-Dit Harth Vieilles Vignes, known also as Tradition, comes from the plain in Colmar from a site with almost no clay but sand, pebbles and gravel. Yields have to be kept low due to the dryness of Colmar and the well-draining soils. The 2023 vintage is based on yields below 20 hectoliters per hectare due to frost, whereas the goal is always 50 hectoliters per hectare. Ripe and aromatic on the spicy and fruity nose, this is a medium to full-bodied, round, fruity and refreshing Riesling with elegant acidity and a savory as well as saline, still young and tight finish that delivers citrus flavors and fine tannins. 92/100.
