Antonio Galloni's Vinous.com: 93/100 The 2018 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru is matured 50% in barrel and the rest in tank, with just a small percentage of new wood. It has a fresh bouquet that is beautifully defined, hints of jasmine and white flowers, crushed stone and peony developing with time. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, and slightly waxy in texture. A discreet grilled walnut note develops toward the finish. A complex Valmur, this, and reassuringly persistent on the aftertaste.
