Parker review
The Voerzio Martini Barbera d'Alba Superiore Ciabot della Luna is a richly concentrated and sultry wine that is packed tight with black fruit, plum and earthy or savory aromas at the back. There is sweet fruit here all nicely contrasted against the savory side of the wine (that ages in barrique for 10 months). That balanced juxtaposition makes me think of a pairing with a ragù (or a so-called Bolognese sauce) in which the sweetness of the stewed tomatoes folds into the meaty flavors of the ground beef. There's even a hint of laurel leaf on this wine for good measure.

Antonio Galloni's Vinous.com: NT The Barbera d'Alba Ciabot della Luna is terrific ! Bright acids perk up a core of dark cherry, plum, mocha, spice and licorice. I would prefer to drink this succulent Barbera in the near term.
