Antonio Galloni's Vinous.com: 91-94/100. (from the Echezeaux side of the cru; 30% vendange entier): Palish red. Aromas of redcurrant, tobacco and earth. Sweet cherry and spice flavors are accented by pepper and herbs from the stems. Good mineral lift gives the wine energy and finesse. Finishes perfumed and long, with subtle spice and stone nuances.
Burghound.com: 91-93/100. A very restrained, cool and almost mute nose only grudgingly reveals attractively complex red and
dark currant aromas that are liberally laced with spice and warm earth nuances. There is excellent volume and fine
concentration to the muscular and robust middle weight plus flavors that display a lovely sense of underlying tension on the
youthfully austere and serious finish. Once again, patience will definitely be a necessity. 2027+
