Ramey 2014 Chardonnay Russian River has an understated nose of ripe apples and apricots with a creamy/yeasty undercurrent. The medium-bodied palate provides nice richness, with plenty of pure stone fruit and citrusy flavors supported by refreshing acidity, finishing long and creamy. 90/100.
Antonio Galloni's Vinous.com: 90/100. The 2014 Chardonnay (Russian River Valley) is rich, creamy and supple, with lovely textural richness and depth, especially at its level. Peach, apricot, dried flowers, vanillin and a touch of French oak give the wine its racy, supple personality. This is a gorgeous appellation level wine from David Ramey.
