Antonio Galloni's Vinous.com: 91/100. 40% new oak, from vines on rocky soil just across from the house and winery in the middle of the village: Dark ruby-red. Very reticent but pure scents of purple fruits, minerals and licorice; Delivers a superb combination of sucrosité and lift. An essence of Gevrey-Chambertin. Sharply delineated, extremely tight and primary, but also with exceptional fullness for village wine. These 2015s are all fruit bombs but this one boasts terrific chalky minerality to go with its gras. The rising, very long finish features serious tannins that will require serious aging. A portion of these vines dates back to 1934. Another outstanding village wine !
